As a nonprofit, run by volunteers and without any government funding, we rely on generous donations and gifts to achieve our project’s aims.

Help us safeguard the last Carrickfergus built ship Result and bring her home to become a heritage attraction and community events hub. There are a variety of ways to donate and every pound counts.

The Carrickfergus Tall Ship Project, is run by the local charity Result Carrickfergus Ltd, and we are currently raising funds for the necessary vessel conservation and transport logistics surveys, and enabling works. Alongside this development work we are in discussions with National Museums NI the current owners of the Result.

Your donation will support:

  • The conservation of the last Carrick-built ship Result

  • The return home of the Result to Carrickfergus

  • Transforming the ship into a heritage attraction and community events hub

  • Developing heritage tours, exhibitions, and community events

  • Creating educational resources for local schools

  • Developing and maintaining a local maritime heritage archive for future generations
